Derived Calculations
Derived calculations let you make calculations off of utility data via system variables. For a simple example, you can use the system variable that records daily consumption of a meter and calculate average daily consumption with a derived calculation, but the options available provide the ability to make far more complex calculations.
The Derived Calculations page shows the following information:
-
Name: The name of the calculation based on the system variable it is using for data
-
Description
-
Frequency: How often the calculation runs (Hourly, Daily, Weekly, and so on)
-
Modified: The date the derived calculation was last updated
-
Assigned: Indicates whether the calculation is currently running at its specified frequency
-
Run Number: The number of times the calculation has run
To view and edit a derived calculation, select a calculation from the table. You can edit the calculation Details and/or the Calculation itself.
